    341 held today!

I just not got back from my 341 meeting. I filed pro se, so I had to wait until the attorneys were done. The trustee was very kind, he even made a joke and told me to have a nice day. I had a no asset case so there wasn't much for him to do. Hooray!!!!!

Congratulations...........but don't get too comfortable. Creditors will now have 60 days to object to the discharge.

Congrats on getting closer to closing! What questions did he ask? Also, when do you send in the tax returns? we filed pro se a few weeks ago and I am not sure when to send them in.
        Thanks!

He asked me very simple questions re income, assets, if anyone owed me money. I was at the table no more that four minutes. All my documents were supposed to be submitted 7 days prior to the hearing. They will send you a document request with your hearing notice.

Congrats, don't worry too much about creditors objecting, since you are a no assets case there isn't much they can object to, you will make it through the 60 days. again.... Congrats!!!

I see this comment made here quite a bit. It's partly true, in the respect that there are no assets, as far as the trustee is concerned. However, if you are a working Joe with an income, you do have assets as far as the creditors themselves are concerned.

There may be no assets for the trustee to conquer and sell, but your income is definitely an asset for the creditors to come after.
