question about adding creditors and credit reports

So, I'm really foggy on this one. Do I have to have every single creditor listed today when I go pay the attorney or do I have until the 341 meeting?

I have some things like lab bills that I don't have the addresses or account numbers for yet and they aren't on my credit report.

Also, do we list my husbands student loan? I know it's dnot dischargable but I thought maybe for the automatic stay.

And do I insist on getting a copy of all the paper work from the attorney or is that being over the top?

And finally (sorry for the zillion q's) I know there are links listed for members but what is the best way to monitor my credit reports and scores. And the least expensive I guess. Is this important to do now and throughout the bk or just after?

    TIA for your time!

You will need the entire list of creditors and amounts and addresses before you file. You don't necessarily have to have it before you meet with your attorney, but you need it to file as far as I know.

I listed student loans. Don't know if I was supposed to or not, but I did. It's not dischargable, but it's still debt we owe.

I would insist on getting a copy. I don't especially think that's too much to ask.

You have to list every debt you owe, even student loans and child support, even though neither of them can be discharged. The student loan will go into a deferment while your BK is in progress.

If you can pay off your entire student loan during the years in your Ch 13, most courts will allow you to list it as a priority debt and pay it off. Unfortunately most people owe way too much to do that because to wipe out a student loan in five years would make the monthly trustee payments impossible.

Also in a few local courts with understanding trustees and judges, minimum student loan payments that at least pay the interest are allowed during Ch 13. Unfortunately it's rare
