This thread is not going to become a soapbox about who offended who, and who is to sensitive, etc And for the record, I am not taking sides with any one individual. And we don't need other members chiming in with thier two cents, blowing the "incident" out of proportion!!

I don't know what you didn't understand about my previous post. I clearly stated that the issue was addressed, and that I wasn't taking sides with ANYONE. You're last words just earned you a 10 day ban.

Not sure if you're serious or not. But, if your drinking problem leads to a gambling problem then it might work. Both are considered mental health issues. You may want to be able to show that you're getting some help, AA or GA meetings.

I apologize for not taking the time to search out your previous posts to familiarize myself with your situation, so I'll be upfront and say that my suggestions may not be specific to your situation. I'm just going on what's in this topic. That being said:

If you can't afford to hire someone to help you file, and you have the time, you may consider filing Pro Se, meaning on your own. There is PLENTY of information hidden in many of the topics in this forum, and some very good books at your local library to assist you. My suggestion isn't to jump into deciding to file on your own, but rather to do as much research as you can and see if you become "comfortable" with your knowledge of the laws in regards to BK to the point of being able to. The members of this forum are all here to help if you have specific questions or concerns. A question of "How can I go about discharging my student loans" is likely to get a thorough answer or a good link to reliable information, but we don't have connections to lawyers in your area, or Pro Bono services that may be available. Just as you probably can't refer me to a good doctor in my hometown.

If you have any questions, we ARE here to help, but we are all human and it does show at times. I don't think anyone here intends to beat up on anyone, especially in a forum that has proved so helpful to all users. People are what makes this place possible for all to use, and we welcome you to any information we have.
