    Discharged? Closed? whats the difference?

Ok, Let me first say how happy I am for everyone who is "Closed" Congrats!!

My question is even if your not closed but you are discharged, its over anyway right? Once its "discharged" no further action can be taken anyway right? I mean the 60 day period will have passed etc....So please explain the difference in the two and why these cases just do not Close after discharge??? Thanks!
