what do I actually have to write down as far as household items etc..New Jersey

I have to file for bankrupcy now (I have on really nasty agency, that has done nothing legal yet, holding two accounts of mine which have now more that doubled the original credit limits)

I'm in NJ and I'm not sure exactly how to fill out all of this stuff. I live in a mobile home (which I NEED to keep) I have a car that is not paid off (which I NEED to keep) and miscellaneous household items (most of which are REALLY used) and my home needs over $1000.00 in repairs.

I have a small child and am currently on unemployment. What will likely happen with the trailer and the car? Should I be able to keep them, my attny said (a year ago when I first started all of this) that I should be able to keep them because I don't actually OWN either and neither is worth much (if any) more than is owed.

Is it LIKELY that my limited posessions would be ordered to be sold? I'm pretty sure that this one collection agency will dispute the bankrupcy...does that happen often? on what grounds? sorry about all the questions, but I'm so scared I'm going to end up homeless with a toddler

You have come to right place for help. There are a lot of well informed people on this forum. You still need an attorney but at least you can get some "free" advice too. If you file a Chapter 7 you should still be able to keep your house and car. As for the collection agency possibly objecting to your BK, provide some details and maybe the moderator of this forum can assist you with that issue. Whatever you decide to do you need to act as quickly as possible. I am sure you have heard and read that there is a new BK law that will go into effect in October and you absolutely don't want to be filing then. We know you are going through a rough time and we all sure know what that feels like but don't give up. Do what's best for you and your child. BK can offer a fresh new start. It is not easy and it is painful and embarrassing but the end result could very well be worth it. Good Luck!
