Trying to file.....

Was supposed to file today and called my lawyers office and asked the secretary if she was going to file today...
she said I am leaving for a week and will be back next monday!!

I asked her if the lawyer could do it and she said no!

I told her that the lawyer said WE SHOULD file before we get the notice of default - which could come any day now.

She said "dont worry, no emergency" Doesn't really matter if we file now or in 1 week.

Can you believe this?

Well it probably doesn't matter a LOT, but if he said he'd do it and didn't, that is not a good sign. I'd call and leave messages for him to call you and explain why it wasn't done on time...
Chances are, he'll just avoid you but ... you can at least try, and let him know you're not happy about it.
On the other hand, if you've already paid him, no point in pissing him off too much, since you are stuck with working with him...
