New Rental Home after filing ch 7 on 10/19

Hey Everyone...i just wanted to let everyone know that I will be moving into a new rental home on 12/1. I had an add on Craigslist explaining that I was looking for a rental home....3 bathrooms...2 bths.....under a certain amount each month. I received a lot of hits...but there was one home in particular i loved....and its only 5 min away from daycare as well as job. Well.....the owner contacted me...and I informed them that i was current situtiation...i just wanted to let everyone know..that there is hope after filing....and some people do understand. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving....here is the owners response..see below...

I appreciate the honesty and we can work with you. We are looking for a long term tenant such as yourself. I would definitely talk with your current landlord to discuss rental history and employer to verify employment and salary. By the way, why are you moving?

We understand that things do happen to people and we have worked with people in similar circumstances. Some have worked out well and some have not.

I sent you the application and we will address any questions we may have.

yeppers congrads found mines of craiglist too... close to hubby job big with fenced back yard with a river back there. 3 brd 2 1/2 bath built in 2005.. landlord .. liked my honesty did a background check didnt even check credit or rental history.. I was praying and blessed ..

Same here. We explained that we were filing (on craigslist) got a ton of hits and we found a great place by the beach - literally close to the beach, cheap rent. He liked our honesty.....
