Most of our utilities around here only check credit to determine whether or not to make you put down a deposit. If you have acceptable credit you can avoid putting anything down.

Maybe 15 years ago cable or satellite was considered a luxury....but now, I don't think so especially when our lawyer said we're allowed up to $80 a month in TV spending....thanks everyone for your input!
