Hello folks, thanks for all of your help. I filed about 7 weeks ago and had by 341 meeting about 25 days ago. Why do I still get some monthly credit card bills in the mail? This particular credit card was included on my petition just like all of my other debts. Anyone here have this experience of continuing to get monthly credit card bills/statements? I only get like 1 or 2 of my credit card bills, its not not all of them just maybe 2 of them. Thanks for all of your great and fantastic help.

In the past when that happened to me I wrote my case number, attorney's name and address on the payment coupon, along with a note to contact my attorney about this. LOLOL Never heard from them again. -
Probably because the billing dept. and the dept. where your bankruptcy was sent to don't communicate very well with each other. I was told by my lawyer to give her the creditor's billing addresses/where I normally sent the payments to AND the creditors' customer service addresses. She included both in my petition, so I assume the courts sent everything to both addresses.. But then of course there are creditors who have both departments in the same building, might even be on the same floor. and still don't communivate with each other.Comment
