Is a college student allowed to be listed on the means test?

My son is in his 5th year of college and is 22 years old. He lives on campus during the year and comes home during holidays and the summers. This is his home. He uses this as his mailing address and his home address. He does not work other than a little school work study. He has never worked off campus. He takes 19 units per semester and is in the orchestra and band. He also donates music lessons to the middle school students and started a film society at his school. He does about 100 other things also, he is very busy. Too busy to work with all the rehersals and performances. He is a music major. I support him so can I claim him as living here on the means test? I still make about 15,000 under the means amount with just myself and daughter as living in the house but I felt he should be included.

Also, I get SS Disability, a little from a private disability policy each month and child support. The child support stops in 1 & 1/2 years which has really helped raise the kids. This is another reason for the bk and downsizing my house payment. I am legally blind and need lots of help, even with typing this.

I am going to file myself with the help of a friend of mine who will be my eyes. I just cant pay an attorney. They money will never be there. My income is just enough to pay the essentials.

    Thanks for any help.

If you claim him on your taxes, then yes, I do believe that you can include him in your means test.
