Derogatory on card with zero balance

In looking over my credit report, I see an account with HSBC that is listing the condition as "derogatory," but the balance on the card is zero. In fact, we never even used the card. I assume this should be disputed. Further, there is a remarks section (this is from TrueCredit) where it says it was inluded or discharged through bankruptcy. Again, not true. I just want to double-check that a company can't say this without being actually discharged or included in bankrupty, right?

Dispute it with the CRA - as "not mine". Probably a data entry error on a SS #, by either HSBC or the CRA.

Actually, it is our card. I opened it in May. But we never used it. So I don't know how it could be included in bankruptcy. However, I have started the dispute process. It's my first one, and this will be a good learning experience for future clean-up.
