Can we be sued after filing a BK?

Can we be sued after filing a BK? Like the day after filing?

Or does the BK stop any "potential" future law suits during the BK process until discharge?

As a practical matter, you CAN be sued.

But, if you filed BK, it is a fairly easy process to get the case dismissed.
