Trustees and they get the money ????

I ask this in one of the other threads but it just got passed on, so now i'm putting it as a main thread,

Now, when i read that the trustee we get the money (TAXES) , i read that the trustee will get 25 %, i read that it will be held in escrow. I'm just trying to understand that any money you will get from taxes or in the next six months where does that go ? to pay off creditors, back taxes, back child support. At my 341 ( 02-05-08 ) nothing of that was brought up, but they do know i owe back taxes and child support, even with this years taxes i belive i will being paying out. Just wondering,,,

So does the trustee get money from these bankrutcy cases ? sorry i'll just not sure, somebody help me to understand,,,

Reading from the Nolo book it says that the trustee gets 25% of the first $5000 that he finds 10% of 45000 and so on (I am not sure what the and so on means here) and the rest of the money is distributed to your creditors in order of priority (taxes and such would be first).

I guess if i study that Nolo book i would understand more,,, Dammit-Man,
