Schedule B- ProRated income tax & Stimulus

Hi everyone,
I just received in the mail the 'draft' of our bankruptcy case. There is a Schedule B -Personal Property included. It shows on line 18. "other liquidated debts owed to debter including tax refunds.Give particulars- then it says 2008 PRO rated Tax Refund & Stimulas Pay- Value $2333.00

I have been doing alot of research on the Stimulus check and I have not found on here were it actually looks like its being offered to the Trustee. The amount is only going to be $1800.... the other $533 I assume is next years income tax refund? We got 9,000 back this year so why only $533?

Also do you think it sounds like they will take the rebate in May or wait until next years tax time? With my husband being out of work for so long who knows how much it will be. His new job is a a HUGE pay cut so wont be able to claim 0. Child tax credit will end for 2 of my children so the days of $9,000 returns are all over.

I know these are questions for the attorney but it just really surprised me to see this almost ' offering ' of the stimulus rebate to the Trustee.

Any ideas?

I also wanted to add that in next years income tax return we will owe unemployment tax PLUS because he lost his job our 2 401k loans are now in default and will show as an early withdrawal with a huge tax burden.

All I can say is if I NEVER see another credit card again it will be to soon!
