    29 days since 341....

I am still not getting any sleep at night....

I am 30 days past my 341. The trustee filed a no asset the day after my 341 and all has been quiet.

Can I breathe a little? I have seen on here that if they are going to do anything to object or get more information, they need to file notice in 10 days????

Anyone had anything happen after 30 days and awaiting discharge...30 days to go?

    I am located in MN.
    Filed 2/15/08
    341 held 3/18/08
    Notice of no asset 3/19/08
UST requesting my paystubs post 341? 4/21/08

That's the trustees. Creditors can object up to the end of 60 days after your 341. Since the trustees haven't objected, you can take this off your worry list.

Your Ch 7 case sounds very straightforward. The chances of a creditor objecting in the next 31 days is less than 1%. Is there something specific that you are worried about?
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

lrprn - you say "since the trustees haven't objected you can take thi soff your worry list" What does that mean? Is there a time frame the trustee has to object within? It has ben 30 days since my 341 and I have seen nothing - The trustee has not declared us no asset - but has not communicated anything to us. Anyone have any ideas what this means? I just wondered if the trustee had a timeline after the 341 that was seperate form the creditors 60 days?

I'm wondering the same thing. I had my 341 Meeting on Monday (4/14) and Pacer is showing that the Trustee filed his Meeting Minutes with the Court yesterday (4/16), however, the minutes he filed isn't something that I can view. Additionally, there have been no updates to my case such as whether or not the trustee objects or not.

Should I assume that no news is good news?

There are some things you can control, and others you can't. Honestly, trustees don't make a habit of coming after someone in the 11th hour. You can usually see 'em coming after the 11th second.

In all seriousness, if all went well at the 341, there is a 99.999999999999% chance everything else will go smoothly. Even if a creditor objects, as long as you know you didn't do anything fraudulent (which chances are the trustee would have already uncovered), the trustee will just tell that creditor to go pound sand.

Sleep well friends. Use that nervous energy to plan out how you're going to rebuild your credit and lifestyle so that you don't end up ever feeling like this again.
          Filed Ch 7: 12/27/07
          341: 2/6/08
          Discharged: 4/11/08
          Finally closing: ???

I agree that if you had no issues you probably shouldn't worry. We had an issue though - Our name is on a piece of property - we did not buy it but our name is on it with mom in law and brother - we didn't know our name was on it until recently- she added it a while back - but the trustee could make an issue of it. He asked a question or 2 about it at the mtg. but nothing since. You are very right though -runnin on empty- and thanks for the advice about energy being better spent on other things since we can't control it! Thanks for that reminder!

To the OP the trustee doesn't seem to think he can get anything from you, without new evidence to the contrary he's not likely to pursue it. Your creditors can object up to 60 days however as some above said it is unlikely you'll see that. You seem a pretty straightforward case. I remember being nervous to up til the day of discharge, but try to get some sleep
