Help! question about 341....

Hi all~
I am new to this forum. I filed a Ch. 7 on 3/6/08 and had my 341 yesterday. I was so nervous. It went well, except for one little hiccup....the asistant to the trustee whispered to him that they needed my 2007 tax returns and husband's pay stubs. I know, I know....I should have had the return (had the pay stubs), but had EVERYTHING else instead. My atty. showed that all was sent to the trustee, but they said they didn't receive them. Anyway, the assistant said May 15th at 9:00 a.m. I assumed I had to re-appear with the docs., but my atty. said no; we will just submit them before then and all will be fine. I have been losing sleep over all of this and am a nervous wreck!! I DO NOT want to go to court again!

What do you think? Other than that, the meeting was very quick. He asked if I plan to keep our house and if we're current and I said yes (I am filing alone; husband is not and his name is on everything except house is joint). The trustee then looked at the computer to see the equity and saw that we had none. I'm assuming they look at Zillow.com for this?

Could someone please rest my mind?

Correct, all you have to do is send the documents, you will NOT have to reappear.

Thank you so much! As most of you know, this whole experience is quite stressful; a chapter of my life that I never want to re-vist and I won't. I am now a Dave Ramsey follower and doing well.

One more thing....I registered for PACER last night, but it doesn't show anything. Maybe they haven't recorded any info. yet since my 341 was just yesterday? or I'm looking in the wrong place. I'm afraid to keep browsing the site for fear of being charged.

em24 just wanted to let you know I am a Dave Ramsey follower now too... I actually found my attorney on his website...I "interviewed" 4 total and the one we chose was by far the best one... I am grateful I found her and it was because of his website.

Don't worry I think you'll be fine once they give them the information they requested...It's nerve wracking but it will be fine Good luck !!

Thank you, Sunshine Mary. That is great that you are following Dave Ramsey, too I was hooked once I read The Total Money Makeover. I also watch his show every night. It helps me to have a little exposure to financial fitness each day. We have changed so many thing in our lives and are now getting into the habit of living on 'beans & rice' & 'rice & beans'.

Your filing and all the schedules should be on pacer. Don't know what the glitch could be.
