I think I am going to file pro se. My question is what if I dont know what collection agency the debt is with? I mean will I still get a discharge for the debt if I list a collection agency and the debt is no longer with them or can I list the original company such as Bank of America when listing my debts and then just fax or mail the discharge papers to whichever collection agency the debt is with?

List everything as you know it to be at the time of filing. Should you be contacted by a different collection agency after the filing, in as nice a voice and tone as possible, simply inform them that you have filed bankruptcy, you filed pro se, and give them the case number. That should be the last call you receive from that agency.
