Parking tickets and ch 7

Hi,

Hoping to file in month and have few questions. I am in NY.

I got few tickets ( double parking ticket while I was dropping my wife and a month old baby in front off our apt. and another for arguing with the cop for giving me the ticket) Can I include them in ch 7?

Also only I am filling and my wife and family will not be included. Do I have to bring my family to the court during the hearing? Reason for asking is that she will be living with my parents in another state until I get back on track . Thanks.

If NY is a non community property tax and you can file alone, then yo are the one that needs to go to the 341.

As for tickets, I have no clue what the answer is.

The tickets can't be much. Just pay them!

Well they total $250. If I can include them in ch 7, I will. If not I guess I will save up to pay. Thanks.

I'm not sure they are dischargeable you might want to check the bankruptcy code and make sure they are not listed as non dischargeable.
