Hi there,
Thanks for your time,
I have automatic stock options with my employer and my current holdings total about $4000--the thing is that they are in the my name in joint tenancy with my daughter who is only 4 yrs old. I was hoping to use these as an investment for her. I can't cash them by myself since they're in both our names, I would need to change the names on the certificates and the accounts because she is a minor. Can they sell these off in a chapter 7?
I'm at a point where I'm curious, I'm filing anyway, and disclosing everything. Que sera, sera...I need to be rid of my problem and get some relief from the garnishments (3) and start bringing in some money.
