Means test dollar amount?

Let me say this is a great site and thank everyone for the help so far.

After doing some searching I would have to be added to my girlfriends BK7 means test since she lives with me. What dollar amount would she have to add for me though? It's my house and I make the house payments, she pays all the utilites, food ect.

Also, she has joint custody of her son. Would that put us at 3 people in the household? She gets to claim him on her taxes for this year if it matters.

We have a meeting with a lawyer in two weeks. Just want to be ahead of the curve when we meet.

Your gf's household number includes all people living with her, including you. She has a family of three.

All the income you contributed during the last six months to pay household expenses (in your case, the monthly mortgage payment) is included in your gf's income calculations on the means test. As you've already figured out, legal marriage doesn't matter.

So, then if she was to file tomorrow my income would only account for one month of the 6 months that she has to go back. This would be because she just moved into my house in July.

Yes if what you say is true then since you only contributed the last month in her calculations she'd only use that 1 month, which might help her.
