How do I go about paying back creditors that are not reporting on a credit report, and do not have and property involved. The ones I would like to pay back are local residents that invested in a business, and I would like to pay them back. It is not a large amount about $4,500 compared to the 100,000 that the business lost. Do I need to fill out some paperwork or anything? Can I simply start up payments? I also have some money saved up from taxes and the Bush refund that I have not touched as I was waiting to get the discharge. Will paying the $2,000 right away that I have cause any problems since the discharge has been issued, but the case is not closed?

If you discharge the debt(s), that debt(s) will no longer be reported. You need to reaffirm the debt(s). My advice is, since these are local residents and the amount is rather small, you should let the BK go as usual and you can pay back the money owed after the discharge. Debtors are entitled/allowed to voluntarily re-pay any debt after discharge.Bankruptcy History:
Chapter 7 filed - 10/12/2005 - Asset
Discharged - 02/16/2006
Case Closed - 11/08/2007
