Here is my timeline, and the highlights of my case:
we filed 5/9/05
the 341 was 6/16/05
and yesterday was the deadline for objections to discharge (8/15/05)
now, I figured the creditors weren't very interested in objecting when the 'discharged in bankruptcy' started showing up on my credit report before the 341 (as we discussed in another thread)
At the 341, the BK Trustee didn't hammer me too much, but did ask a few questions about the value of our house.
The US Trustee also showed up at our 341 because of the high amount of debt and questioned us about our expenses, specifically childcare expenses.
I believe we answered their questions adequately, and the icing on the cake was when my lawyer dropped the bomb on them that we were expecting a third child (an unexpected blessing, we had found out 2 days prior to the 341)
Anyway, we haven't heard anything since the 341 other than the lawyer needing to correct something on the petition at the request of the US Trustee. It had something to do with my van not being on one of the schedules. We fixed that last week and have heard nothing since.
As of this morning (8/16) PACER till says 'Awaiting First Meeting' and the last filing is the certificate of mailing to all the creditors.
I'm thinking we are probably good to go, but they sure are slow updating PACER.
