My husband and I just filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Our 341 meeting is scheduled for September 13, 2005. After reading through a lot of the posts on this board, I now have another question.
My family (parents, aunts, grandparents, cousins) are taking a cruise on April 24, 2006. Several months ago, they talked us into going. My dad paid the deposit ($600), and we have about $1500 left to pay on it by February 1, 2006. I never mentioned this to the attorney since it wasn't even anything I was thinking about. It's scheduled for next year and I was thinking about this year now.
Do you think that this will cause a problem? My husband is really looking forward to this cruise and now my best friend and her family may be going. I'm not sure what I should do about it. We haven't paid anything on it yet, but we still have 2/3 of the cost left to pay.
