I charged tires on my Sam's Club credit a couple months ago for $450. I didn't have a choice. We didn't have a pot to piss in. The tire blew out and the other 3 tires were bald. Will I get in trouble when I try to include Sam's Club Credit in the Ch. 7 in the first quarter of 2009? We plan to give the car back in the Ch. 7 that has the tires on it. Can Sam's Club take the tires back? They have about 3,000 miles on them now.

Swap them out with some junk used tires.Originally posted by debtmonster View PostSWEET! Thanks!
But the tires will belong to GMAC once they repo the car after the filing.
A little story that probably is not a same or similar situation to yours but still satisfying:
I totalled my car last spring 1000 miles after purchasing $700 tires. I swapped them out with junk tires before they sent it to the junk yard and kept my dang tires. The insurance company said they just need 4 tires on them regardless of the condition.
They are still sitting in the garage, I may put them on Craigslist or they may fit my husbands car when he needs new tires. Eitherway, I was satisfied that I got my new tires back. lol

However, it's the Christmas season. We have 3 kids. I just wonder how it's going to look to see all these charges on my bankstatement. I denfinitely want to account for all of my money so I am reluctant to only use cash rather than a debit card( even though I consider it the same)
You are right about the savings. I can't wait to start socking money away after this BK is completed.Chapter 7 07/30/2008
