Since I wanted to keep my car I continued making timely monthly payments. Each credit card outfit that I included in my filing were each paid a token payment of $10 and not the minimum payments up until the month that I filed.Figured these token payments would keep my phone quiet.

But, I really don't care what my credit score is...

      .

Call me crazy, but this is my thinking as well. If one is faced with BK, the credit score is the LEAST of your worries.

I would much rather not worry about how to buy groceries than wether or not I can get a good intrest rate/loan.

Actually, not all of us can afford to be so carefree with our credit scores. Of course food and shelter come first..that's why we couldn't file in a timely manner to prevent huge damage to our credit. But now we need a replacement vehicle and we're not able to finance with anyone, even for a small amount, because our credit is so shot. In 2 years we will need to refinance our ARM and with such a low number, we'll be scrambling to do it. So credit scores do matter depending on each individual's circumstances.
