Hhm,
If I could impose on you for an opinion un-related to my own case.
Friend went into contract to purchase a condo in Florida.
Seller has discovered he could have gotten a lot more $ for condo and has used various excuses not to close on deal.
In mediation today seller offered to close for an additional $25,000.
Told my friend that if she refuses his offer.....he will allow the contract dispute to continue to court......and if he loses in court....he will declare bankruptcy the next day.
So....question........would the condo....under contract......be considered part of his estate ?
Many thanks
