    PACER not updated?

Mom had her papers sent in Tuesday the 16th. I signed up for PACER I think the 17th. Checked every day, nothing, nothing, nothing.

I saw my mom on Saturday, she told me she received the papers back from the court and that her 341 meeting was for Sept. 20th.

I just checked PACER again today, she's still not even listed!

Anyone else have this experience? Just wondering if I should stop doing the searching since I am paying for them, and getting NOTHING!

I have searched by last name, by SS#.. nothing!!

If she received the notice of 341 from the court, there is no way she is not in PACER. Have you mother tell you what the case number is near the top of the 341 notice.

OK, I'll do that. I was a bit shocked that she wasn't there. Maybe I am looking in the wrong court?? I'll do some searching, and when she gets home from work, I'll get the case number!! THANKS

Well, I just looked at all the other links for California.. they are for Riverside, Santa Ana etc. The only one that applies is the NORTHERN Cal. I did another search using her SS#, and nothing. Guess I'll try it with the case number and see what I can do.

Well, apparently I was looking in the wrong court. I live in NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, and we come up in the EASTERN CALIFORNIA court. Go figure.

Anyway, I found her listed. And now I'll just watch it every week or so I guess? Is there any other reason to watch it more? Her 341 is scheduled for Sept. 20th. There is no missing that right?

Oh, if anyone here is from my area (whether it's northern or eastern??) our judge is Hon. T. Holman, and the trustee is M. Burkart.

Does it say yes or no asset?

It says no asset. Is that good or bad?
I was afraid to look at too many pages, since I really didn't know what I was looking for/at. So each page was costing me .08c. and without looking for a purpose, it was kinda just wasting money?!

If there's anything I should do, like go print off each page? please let me know. Otherwise I guess I'll just check it in a week or so??

As far as I know, that's very good.

Ours says Yes to asset so I need to amend my schedules to exempt.

AH, I see what you mean. Had I not of exempted everything, then it would be listed as an asset case! Thanks. Guess that means I did it correctly then. (really she has NOTHING that could even be considered an asset. I wouldn't buy all her crap for more then $500 and that includes her car!)

I found the most useful section of PACER to be the 'History' section - it shows all the stuff that has been filed.

oh GREAT! Thanks InDebt! I'll look at that in a few days when I search again. I don't want to search too often, because I don't expect any changes.

The case is only listed as no asset right now because that is what your petition indicates. The trustee will redesignate the case after the 341 meeting, and that is the important time.

As for checking PACER every week, honestly, that is overkill, you really don't need to check it again until about a week after the 341 meeting.

Is there anything special I should watch for on PACER? My mom called yesterday, she got a letter from the court varifying the 341 meeting. And she also got a notice from Wells Fargo, telling her that her card had been deactivated and for her to destroy it.

I just checked on PACER for her "history" and this is all it tells
