Question about veh. registration and insurance....

Hello. I have an appoinment on Monday to meet with my lawyer. All payments have been made & i guess, this is the last meeting to get all my paperwork together before actually filing, which im wondering how much longer that will take? My question is....I have my registration and insurance on the vehicles i intend to keep paying on, but i am co-signed on my brothers vehicle & he is deployed, so im finding it difficult to get in contact with him to get his reg. and insurance. Will i need it?

Not likely. I don't remember ever being asked for that in my initial attorney meeting or at the 341 meeting.

I wasn't asked for my registration or insurance either. Attorney just asked year, make & model, and amount owed.

Hmmm... i wonder if my attorney is just being overly prepared, which is a good thing. I guess i should just wait to see what they say tomorrow. I am so nervous and feel like i am going to have an anxiety attack! Just cant wait till all is said and done =(

No need to be nervous about seeing a lawyer they are there to help you.

Try not to fret, since you are only the cosigner he might not need it on that vehicle. Just explain to the lawyer that you have had trouble contacting your brother due to his deployment.
