    Bankruptcy and Gambling

OK, I am the first to admit that the reason I am choosing bankruptcy is about 60% because of gambling. When I finally realized it was just too much, I was buried.

I am concerened that when the trustee is looking at my bank statement and they see a ton of gambling deposits into a legal gaming company. What will happen?

Should I just close that checking account and set up another one to pay regular bills for the next couple months? The actual papers haven't been filled yet.

Thanks in advance for your help, appreciate it greatly

Doesn't matter if you close any accounts and re-open new accounts. You have to have several months of bank statments ready in case they ask. You also have to list on your schedules any bank accounts you have/had in recent months.

When was the last time you used a cc for gambling?

I haven't used a CC for gambilng in years, maybe 2-3 years. I actually have only one account open right now. My checking account will show alot of deposits for gambling though, which is what I am worried about when I go to my trustee meeting
