Anybody in central ohio have any problems. I have talked to a couple of people about lawyers and what not privately just wondering if anybody has any nightmare stories filing Ch7. I was looking at the southern districts website and saw many objections to expense reports and what not. I have two appointments with lawyers but they are not for a week or so, I am nervous but at the same time just want to be done with it.

One other thing, I am not sure if I completely understand this:
one parcel or item of real or personal property that he or his family uses as a residence. (O.R.C. 2329.66(A)(1)(a).) In all other judgments, a debtor may claim exemption of his interest, up to five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) in one parcel or item of real or personal property that he or his family uses as a residence
So does this mean that no matter how much your home is worth and how much you owe on it they wont try and take it from you??? -

Hey DeadBroke...we are from central Ohio. Had our free consultation...filled out all the paper work and now have our 2nd meeting with the attorney Friday (16th) to go over all the papers and our expenses. I can post more Friday after the meeting and let ya know what all was said about our expensesComment

Your attorney should be able to answer those questions. Have you asked him. When we started thinking about bankruptcy we contacted an attorney with a list of questions and were advised accordingly, that is who directed us to this website. Between both, I have probably only stressed 1/2 as much.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
