Credit Report after BK is discharged??

I was wondering. After a BK is discharged do the bad debts disappear on there, or how are they listed? Will the good stuff stay on there or will it be wiped away too?

Until May of 2004 we had perfect credit. You can see on the reports that until May/June/July of 2004 we never even had a late payment for over 10 years with some creditors.

Not sure if I worded that right so you can understand. Some creditors we'd had for over 10 years - all of them had never had even one late payment.

Look under our credit repair forum.

However, no, your various account entries do no disappear from your credit report. All you accounts that were included in your bankruptcy will report something to the effect of "included in bankruptcy, or discharged in bankruptcy".

Your credit report is report of your credit "history". Thus, just about every account you have ever had will be on you credit report regradless of your bankruptcy.

Thank you. That is good to know. I was afraid it would wipe the slate clean and all of the good stuff (which far outweighs the bad stuff on there) would be gone too.
