Finally Signed Petition

On Friday, we signed our petition. It will be faxed next week. So hopefully now that this is done, we'll finally be on our way to some finanical freedom.

Just kinda concerned. With out petition, my income is included. But possibly on the 1st of Oct, my job will go contract and they may pick me up, which means I'll make more money.

My 341 meeting will be around the time that I get picked up by the new contractor.

Since I'll make more money it'll be a conversion. What should I do? I just want to hurry up with this. Should I even mention the conversion of the contractor? The job is the same...just more money.

That is a hard question. I imagine at the 341 the trustee will ask if you expect your financial situation to improve substantially.

How was your expenses list that you included in the petition? If it was very bare, based on current income, would standard expenses offset the pay increase? For example, if you included practically nothing for clothing & entertainment & home maintenance 'cause you can't afford them now, you would conceivably spend more in those areas if you had more income. I hope that makes sense to someone other than me.

My lawyer sends a wholebunch at the same time. They are weird like that. LOL It took them this long to do this one. I'm just glad it's finally done.

It isn't as long as it has been. Time will go by slowly, but in the scheme of things, it is relatively a drop in the bucket compare to the stress & worry you have been carrying around for a lot longer than several months.
