Bank of America and checking account post BK7 filing - experience?

    Hi folks!
Love this forum - I've learned so much!

I've been trying to get my "ducks in a row" before filing my no asset, pro se Chap 7 on October 13, 2005. I'm on Soc Sec disabilty and have my benefit check directly deposited to my BofA checking account. I wonder if anyone else with Soc Sec direct deposit has any experience with how BofA handles your checking account post filing? (I'd call and ask them, but they "know who you are" when you call and I don't want them to take any pre-emptive actions. Paranoid? You betcha! ) Do they close it? If so, should I get a another checking account with some other bank NOW before filing Chap 7?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone in similar circumstances.

We filed ch 7 back in 2002 and had a Bank of America checking account. We also had a BoA visa card that was included in the bankruptcy. We had NO problems with BoA. Nothing about our checking account changed at all. As far as my experience, I would say don't worry about it.
