    Need some help with Pacer

Ok so I took the advice of many on this site and signed up for Pacer. I logged in. Where is it that Im supposed to find out if there are any objections, if the UST will be involved, so on and so forth?? The only thing I could find was my information (name, address).

Can somebody with experience give me a tutorial, or point me in the right direction with PACER?
    Retained bk7 laywer 8-12-08, Filed 12-22, 341 Meeting Scheduled 1-29-09
    Discharged 4-17-09!!!
Reason for filing: Medical, NOT irresponsibility with credit.

    Pacer instructions

Go to Pacer. Enter Links to Pacer Web Sites. Go to US Bankruptcy Courts and click on your district. Enter the document filing system in your district, your ID and password are required here in this section. Login. Enter your name or case number. Once you enter your name in the query section, your case will pop up.
There are a number of links you can click on to get your specific case information (see below list of links for each case):

    Alias
    Associated Cases
    Attorney
    Case File Location
    Case Summary
    Creditor
    Deadline/Schedule
    Docket Report ...
    Filers
    History/Documents
    Judge
    Notice of Bankruptcy Case Filing
    Party
    Related Transactions
    Status
    Trustee
    Claims Register
    Creditor Mailing Matrix

You click on a link and your query shows a little more detail, accept the query and the documents show.

I usually go to Docket Report, once you get there click on the number (in blue) and the actual filed document will show so you can download to your hard drive, or print. I suggest saving to your hard drive so you can access at any time in the future without going through PACER.

    Hope this helps.

I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..

I usually go to History/Documents and then on the next screen it has a little tick box for "show docket text" you can filter by newest date or oldest. Seems like everything shows up with that query, even stuff that isn't docketed.

Case summary is a lot of fun too. You can see if there are any flags, etc.

Can you tell I am a PACER addict?

Ok I followed the directions on this thread but I only found documents I already have in my possession (my petition, etc). I want to find what everybody else is talking about, like any objections, whether the UST is involved or not???? I cannot find it anywhere.

LOL, I hope you are ready for some sticker shock when you get your PACER bill.

If the document is not in the History/Documents section, then it hasn't been filed. The History/Documents section will show you a list of everything filed in your case, however, you won't be able to download every document (e.g. the Trustees Report is private, you will see the entry that it has been filed, but the entry will not be linked for download),

I believe the Case Summary section will tell you the most recent thing done in your case, thus saving you money from querying the History.

When I check PACER I only check History/Documents and Status, that pretty much shows me if there is anything new filed and the status section shows exactly that--the status of the BK.

Well I guess nothing has posted to my case (no news is good news, right?) because I cant find anything on PACER that I dont already have in my possession.
