can someone tell me how a 13 works....how can you be pushed into one?? i thought the reason for filing was a new start........how much do you pay on bills when doing a 13???? i owe everyone ....taxes 06-07-and 08...... hope i dont get told to do a a 13

Tax debt is not dischargeable.

When you file your petition what determines whether you are a 7 or 13 is your expenses related to income. If after allowed expenses you have as little as 169 dollars left then you would be a 13, less that that and your a 7. The closer you are to that the more likely the Trustee will perhaps challenge expenses.
