    341 Over!!

OMG!! Let me tell you about it. I got there one hour early so I could be prepared. I saw a small room with 40 chairs facing one wall. At the head of this wall was a conference style table. The trustee was asking the basic questions. Some people had their expenses as $5500 and their income as $700. The trustee asked how in the world they are living. Seemed like they were stretching the truth a bit. The whole thing seemed to come down to preparation. I went up there and got asked the same ten questions as others and it was over (like 2 minutes!!) Now....what is next? Am I guaranteed a chapter 7? The trustee asked some people for their 2005 taxes when they file. She didn't say anything to me about that. Am I free to keep my taxes? Is it over with? Is it safe to start working overtime? Good luck to all of you. Special thanks to Minnie. Your small, kind words were enough to get me through all of this. Good luck to those of you who are so nervous. We've all been there.

Congrats! Sounds easy enough! I am going to print your story for my mom too. It will make her feel better reading about what's going to happen!

So is that proverbial weight off your shoulders yet?

Sounds like your 341 went "great".....now just be patient - most creditors do not object to discharge - and next you will hopefully get your full discharge................in 60 days or so....

Stay calm, be patient - the future is looking better for you -

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
