With having charges that may be considered fraudulent, foreign assets, some money in the bank, etc., the only thing I can think of to advise is see an attorney (or 3) as soon as possible.Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision. -

Thanks for the responses.
I am in an area where few lawyers have very much experience and locating one who has is difficult. I had one fella respond but as I called him international at significant expense it seemed like he was blowing me off. Unless I made a trip back to the US and waltzed into his office he really did not want to talk. I may be in uncharted territory where I actually know more than some of the attorneys do and may end up handling alot of this myself and just using a lawyer to make sure that paperwork is in order and the dealines are met.
I still hope to post in the future and get some real answers.Comment
