I'm trying to get in and they are getting so booked it's tough. If I file seperate from my wife, why does she need to come to the initial consutation?

I am assuming because they think you have alot of stuff jointly. I know alot of lawyers around central ohio are pretty much telling people now there is no way they can get in before the new law due to back log of clients. -
If you & your wife live together (if you don't then its a different situation altogether) then her income has an impact on household expenses.Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's.
