question about extra tempory income

Hi Everyone
I was wondering if after filing and waiting for your 341 meeting ,
What happens with extra income that was a temp job and not steady but only a few hours that will be recieved before meeting? I am in SC .
In our debt to income form we have negative income not much but the attorney says it is better to be negative. so what will happen if this extra check I get that is under 2000.00 for this job total year to date , this check that will be coming is going to be around 500.00 . Is this something that will raise a red flag ? about income recieved or do I leave it alone since it is after we filed ? please help my meeting is very soon... thanks so much

I don't think it would be a problem since it's after filing. Was the yearly total (divided by 12) already figured into your income on the schedule?

No , I did not know I was going to be able to do these hours.

Well you could ask your lawyer about it.

I probably will call them but since I paid my fees ,My attorney never talks to us , actually ever since the free consultaiton ,We have not heard from him nor seen him his assistant deals with all , I guess because they are swamped it is really hard to get a hold of him. she said we will see him again at the meeting and thats it. Just figured I could get a second oppinion. On if this matters to go through all the voicemails and call backs we have not heard from anyone since we filed just a letter in the mail showing our date. nothing else , If anyone knows when do they actually ask for anything is it before or after the meeting? thanks so much for your time and help..

Basically all your paperwork is done - now its wait till 341 meeting. If you need further paperwork, your lawyer will notify you to bring it in or too the meeting.

The temporary income, don't be concerned about it......wouldn't make much difference in figures anyways....

Any monies you make after filing is yours..... I'm sure your lawyers office girl will tell you that if you ask her.

Sounds good to me . I have not heard that before "any money made after filing is yours" . Good to know I guess thanks. I may be getting a new job here soon, I guess that will be okay too. I think my attorney said as long as I will not be making more money it will be okay..
Funny though my husband is getting mad because these creditors still call him he tells them we are in bankruptcy gives the case number and attorney name . but still calling . I told him not to be mean to them so we do not have any issues with them . Trying to make it go smooth. Can't wait to end of October. One more question , Do they ask you about your current job? and how much you make now? at the 341 meeting? Do they want updated bank statements usually?
