    FINALLY!!! Date for 341

Ok...after all of my *****ing and whining....I called the VCIS number today for San Antonio, to see if they recieved my packaged from last week. My attornedy mailed it in.

So they did! As of today it is filed...actually filed, and my 341 meeting is on October 19th! OMG....now it's just the long wait for this. My understanding from my attorney is that the trustee is really nice. So that's great. Hopefully it'll just go really quick and easy.

Wish me luck! I should get my stuff in the mail this week from the courthouse.
    My BK Status:
9/19 Chapter 7 petition on file w/ BK court

    12/19 Deadline for Objections (Scheduled)

    12/26 ORDERED DISHCHARGED!!!!!
12/27 Bankruptcy Case Closed (Admin.):clapping: :yahoo:

Be patient, sit back and relax,

A nice "trustee" - well that has to been seen yet!!! Maybe one in a million - they make their living off assets of people filing BK, remember............
Maybe they can be nice and polite while they take what you own to sell - who knows............

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Don't sweat it. Your 341 will come, you will go, and everything will be fine. It will be short and sweet. Get there early, watch a few cases, listen to the questions so you can prepare your answer, and that's it. Over and done. Big relief. Good Luck.

I think your attorney probably knows. Thus is their area and the way they make their living and deal with the various trustees on a daily basis. (kinda like the clerks at the gas station or the waitress at the resturant you eat at alot) You get to know them and what to expect in most situtations. Ours hit it right on the money. We were in the courtroom before court started and watched quite a few cases, in amazement at the slack way they were presented. Make sure all your stuff is together, scout out the courthouse ahead of time, get there early, (of course dress decently, just joking) and listen to the way the questions are asked, mentally answer them yourselves as they relate to your case and wait some more.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
