I have posted before and a received some great comments and this is an update. I went to a BK lawyer, signed the papers and my case was filed a few days ago. The lawyer was excellent, he asked me a few questions about income, assets, and also prepared a budget for me and that was it.
In about ten days I will recieve the information about my case and date/time of my 341 meeting.
I feel better that I took this step but still feel like a failure. Thank you in advance for your posts. God is giving me a second chance and I thank him for that.
P.S. I have been reading on these post about after discharge they are getting credit card offers in the mail. How do I stop them before they get to my door step?? Plus, I think there should be laws for CC companies on how much credit they extend to consumers, one of my creditors told me they give us consumers more than twice they can handle. How could a person change that?
