    So many questions...

    1) When does this supposed "new" law go into place for Bankruptcies?

    I'm highly embarassed to even think about filing bk, and I feel totally foolish and well.....all of my debt is unsecured with no assets. House is in my husband's name and his name isn't on ANY of my creditors. I have about $23+ in cc debt. I do have recent charges (last 30 days). Will lawyer advise me to wait?

    Another reform is still in the pipeline--it hasn't made its way through all the political beauracracies yet. It'll most likely occur sometime in '05 (but don't hold me to this)

    BK7 happens! Just make a concerted effort to change your attitude toward money! This is critical. You want to refrain from making purchases on credit for a mininum of 90 days from the day you file your BK7 petition. If you can wait longer, that would be even better.
