    Now what

Okay, I had my 341 meeting. All went well. Is that it? I don't have to send any paperwork to my trustee or sign any reaffirmation agreements? I am only reaffirming my car. Can I still let the bank take my car back if I wanted to? I am just unsure of the next step. Do I just sit back and wait? This is more nerve-racking than the 341 meeting. Any advice/experience is appreciated.

OK, now 341 meeting is over. Creditors have 60 days to object to discharge....then you will get your discharge papers and it's over.....

So sit back, be patient and wait the 60 days out.

The car issue.....if you sign a reaffirm on the vehicle.....you will have to pay the entire amount owed no matter what (even if you turn it back in). If you do not sign the reaffirm papers and just keep making payments on it (regular) you can keep your car - then in the future if you decided to turn it back it - it will be included in bankruptcy and you will not have to pay any outstanding balance on it...... Many people do not sign the reaffirm, but yet keep their payments current so that they have this option open to them in the future....

So relax, keep your car payments current and wait for those discharge papers in about 60 days.

    Your almost there......

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
