Does this mean I'm discharged and free?!

I found this today. Does it mean we're all done? "Officially Bankrupt" ?

IT IS ORDERED that the report is APPROVED, the Trustee is DISCHARGED from and relieved of the trust; the surety or sureties thereon are released from further liability thereunder, except any liability which may have occurred during the time such bond was in effect and the estate is CLOSED.

My mom had her 341 on the 20th. I think Thursday I found the update that said "trustee found no assets etc.. ".. her order said objections had to be in by 10/21/05.. only 30 days!! So I think that's where you are?! the Trustee has said there isn't anything, now the creditors have time to object.

            now what?

Ok, now I found this today...

It appearing that the debtor is entitled to a DISCHARGE,

            IT IS ORDERED:

The debtor is granted a discharge under section 727 of title 11, United States Code, (the bankruptcy Code).

            So, someone? Am I discharged?

And it also says here on the next page:

This court order grants a discharge to the person named as the debtor. It is not a dismissal of the case and it does not determine how much money, if any, the trustee will pay to creditors.

Then it gives a list of all the people we owed money to.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

You are done, once you are discharged, you are legally out of bankruptcy. The "closing" of your case has little legal significance, its a administrative issue. For all intents and purposes, the discharge is the close of your bankruptcy.

Once you are discharged you should find a copy of the discharge (don't remember exactly under which heading I found it) as well as a list of the creditors it was sent to (that is in another section). All the creditors that you listed except for what you re-affirmed should be discharged.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....
