I did try searching for this before starting this thread, but was unable to find one about it; I apologize if there is one already. I am considering filing chapter 7 BK in Minnesota, and I got a 4.9% loan for about $5,500 from the city for my boiler that comes up like a street assessment. The reason I believe this, is the last time I refinanced my house, I was not asked to pay it off. My question is, do you believe that this debt will be discharged under my chapter 7 or will it be something I will have to continue to pay if I want to keep my house.
Question 2-Will my chapter 7 BK affect my wife, if she is not on any of the loans or accounts filed on?
