    Divorce? Joint debts? Help?!

I had a look at my credit report, and it showed that I'm still on around 12 of my exhusband's accounts (generally as "authorized user"). They're all in good standing (this also explains why one persistent creditor tried to tell me I had over $38k in credit available to me....).

I've told him before to call the relevant companies and have my name removed, but obviously he didn't do it...my questions are:

    1. Do I have to list them? Most have clear balances, none have ever had a late payment and a couple have a balance which he apparently pays on regularly.

    2. Can any of my creditors go after him for credit cards I applied for/received before we were divorced? (during the separation, but before the divorce). I'd hate for that to happen.

    Any help greatly appreciated.
I'll brazillian wax poetic, so pathetically...

For any that you are listed a AU you have no obligation regarding these, so don't need to list. If there are any that you are a joint applicant, rather than AU, you should list them. If your X needs motivation to request you be removed from AU status, if he doesn't, those accounts might show up on his report as 'Included in Bankruptcy'. It isn't 100% but it could happen.

Regarding your accounts, if he was not a joint applicant w/ you-your X is not an issue.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
