Since we are just seperated the lawyer states because I am paying all the bills they will not include he income. I am so scared this will backfire as their is no proof in writing of seperation. The lawyer states even if she just walks out the door and I have to pay all the bills we don't have to be legally seperated. He stated the divorce could take to long to start with the new law looming and that legal seperation isn't needed. Anyone have insight on this? I am just nervous because the meeting is next week and what if I get grilled on this.

Just show that you are paying all the bills. Has she done a change of address? Is her name on any of the bills you are keeping. Especially if the bills in bankruptcy are in your name only, you should be ok.

All the bills are in my name only and she is on one bank account as lawyer said not to start changing everything. She has had herself removed from cc as an authorized user. She is getting some stuff here but the rest of the mail to her parents. The gambling made her leave as i was blowing all the money. Hopefully i can get my life in orderComment
