how long to update a petition

1. I was rereading petition and I think the lawyer filled it out wrong..
2. how long does it take to ammend the petition?
3. the meeting is on thursday.
4. I believe he messed up #16 on statement of financial affairs labeled spouses or spouse. it mentions community property state and I live in illinois. I don;t know how they can make that mistake if they did and all I read was spouse or spouses until i reread it today for the 10th time reviewing my info

Our attorney updated the petition the day of court. The expenses were changed.
