341 Meeting Scheduled

I got my letter today that my 341 meeting had been scheduled for Nov. 18. My case was different from others that I have read on these posts so I was getting pretty nervous about the decision I made. The letter had things that I/my attorney needed to send so I called them to make sure that they would be sending the information. I also asked them about the trustee assigned to my case. She informed me that they had a good working relation with him and that he would be fair but he did his job. I have been completely honest on my income vs. expenses so do you think this encouraging for me. I need a little hope right now. Thanks!!!!

Relax! As long as you are completely honest on your paperwork you are going to be all set. The 341 meeting is not as big a deal as people make it out to be. Just breath and you will get through it!

Dear Scared: You haven't given us anything to work with. All cases are different but yet the same. You mentioned that there was information that needed to be sent... Like what??? It helps if you wanted educated guesses or advice if we knew a tad more about what was going on.
Without that, I would say that if you have the proper documentation and submit it in time, you should be ok. What was your attorney's opinion of what documentation was requested.
I have seen that various trustees want various information. You can also tell that they have pet peeves about certain things. Ours was expenses to income ratio. Even after bankruptcy he knew that it should at least balance. When there is always a shortage that sends up a big flag. $1000 monthly in expenses vs $900 in income means something isn't going to get paid, so how can you keep it. Hope this helps.
