How can a 501(c)3 Charity File for BK?
We are a non-profit charity (501(c)3) that just hosted a "fundraiser" that has left us in debt for $20,000. We do not expect to recover any more funds to pay for this. We also do not have steady funding coming in. We need to file for Chapter 7. Is it possible to keep our doors open after we file? Or will this mean the end to a 13 year old charity?
